I'm cold.

"Major storm thrashes eastern half of country" (weather.com)

You would NOT believe how ridiculous the weather is here. It's so ridiculous, it merits a post. "Wintry mix" is what the weather channels call it when snow, freezing rain, hail, and sleet fall concurrently from the sky. Candice, I hope you're doing as well as I am.

I'm going to CA in 3 weeks!

Yeah we actually had half of classes canceled two days in a row (Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning). That of course included none of my classes, but it's still crazy...though I do enjoy walking out on our mostly frozen lake and sliding around on the sidewalk ice.

I'm going to beat you to Cali, I'm going in a week! I've got to get away from this crazy winter before it kills both me and my car...though my car will be staying at home by Chi-town, so I guess only I'm escaping the death thing...then again if either one of us really needs to escape death it would be my car since I get to go to Heaven when I die...then again a car isn't really animate so it can't "die" per se...but I should stop rambling and finish up the thermo project that is the end of my all-nighter.

I got out just in time ... the storm dumped almost a metre of snow in parts of my city (Hamilton) starting on Tuesday ... but I was flying out of Toronto to Mexico City Wednesday morning. So long, suckers . . .

Although, the 75 degree difference in temperature from Ontario evenings to Mexico City afternoons is something my body was not prepared for.
